FFP believe feminism is a politics that not only advances the principle of gender equality but goes beyond to promote substantive changes in the way that marginalized voices are received in public spaces. Feminist Frequency is a blog and non-profit organization, with a video web series and podcasts, that was founded by media critic Anita Sarkeesian. The video series covers issues in feminism, focusing on representations of women in pop culture and the media, with the objective of prompting further discussion of the issue and as an educational resource for content creators.
