Eyes on the Prize was listed as a Leicestershire Food Hero in 2012 by the Leicester Mercury. The blog provides a mixture of food and drink content with Tim blogging about whatever interests him. Many posts are reviews of dishes sampled from Leicestershire pubs, curry houses and restaurants which are written in a first person style and may include photographs. Others consist of wines, pub changes and food events. He also writes about beer weeks. The Blogger: Eyes on the Prize is written by Tim who started the blog after working as a restaurant critic for The Metro Midlands tradition. "I love restaurants. I love good food and drink. I was hoping someone would start blogging about restaurants in the Leicestershire region. Eventually the penny dropped that I should do it myself and I started this blog in 2009."
