The Downtown Devil is a student-run online publication dedicated to providing hyperlocal news from the downtown Phoenix area quickly, accurately and completely to the downtown Phoenix community. The Downtown Devil is operated solely by students at ASU. The publication is owned by four graduates of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication who, along with a staff of more than 80 students, handle the business and editorial sides of the Downtown Devil.
