DG Fishing
Crooked Lines is the personal blog of fishing writer Dom Garnett, which serves as a companion to his main website, DG Fishing. The latter offers "anything from custom pike flies, to bass and trout patterns to your own demands"; the former serves as a platform for Dom's book, also called Crooked Lines, as well as general fishing stories. The blog is written solely by Dom, a self described "Author, photographer, fisherman and craft beer fanatic." It draws on a life long love of fishing, as well as experience as a writer and fishing professional. Blog posts feature coverage of the many fishing trips which make up Dom's life, moving from canals and Urban areas to Lochs, lakes, rivers and other rural/coastal environments. Blog posts are extensive and in-depth, providing fully fleshed out narratives and referencing various external pieces on related subjects. Book reviews are also featured, and the blog also comments on relevant issues such as the protection of UK rivers and the crisis in fishing media. PR opportunities exist in fishing, conservation and travel stories. Dom may be contacted through the details given here, or through his individual profile.
