The blog focuses on software applications and apps that "challenge the ways we share and engage with information". It is based in the UK but aimed at a global audience. The Founder and Editor-in-Chief of CreativeApplications.Net is Filip Visnjic. Filip was born in Belgrade and is now based in London, directing new media projects and contributing to a number of blogs and magazines. Among his many roles, he is Art Director and Curator at Resonate, a Belgrade-based project, and Director at Working Architecture Group. He also lectures at several UK universities, including Central St. Martins School of Art and Design, University of Creative Arts, University of Greenwich, University of Westminster and others. Entries on the blog tend to profile or report on various uses of new media and software, focusing on the artistic and creative. In addition to applications the blog covers any notable works combining technology and art. Filip and the team also include updates and write-ups of events and various projects they're working on.
