Background and Format: Launched in January 2015, CAFOD blog is a group blog of the Catholic Aid Agency for Overseas Development charity about the "just one world." The blog provides a mixture of Catholic social thought and charity news with CAFOD employees and supporters blogging about issues the charity deals with. Many posts are gospel reflection about refugees, charity walks on pilgrimage routs, getting involved in politics and volunteering abroad. Others consist of campaigns the charity is conducting such as the Share the Journey campaign which supports refugees, Step into the GAP for those doing a gap year to volunteer abroad and Climate Warriors which deals with climate change. There is also an A-Z of fundraising ideas and a directory that provides a list of CAFOD volunteering centres in the UK. The Bloggers: CAFOD blog is written by several people involved with CAFOD, ranging from employees, supporters and volunteers.
