A Head Full of WishesUnited KingdomLaunched in March 1997, A Head Full of Wishes is a blog for Galaxie 500, Luna, Damon & Naomi, Dean & Britta and Dean Wareham. With news, articles and lists of releases and past and future shows. The blog posts are written by Andy Aldridge. In 1994, he pinched a bunch of Galaxie 500, Luna and Damon & Naomi lyrics and sleeve scans, threw together a rough discography and launched the website. He'd like to say it was the first Galaxie 500 website but Paul Stephenson can lay claim to that honour. But he can probably claim the first Luna and Damon & Naomi websites. The site chugged along happily through a few designs and domain changes, gave birth to the still lively Galaxie 500 Mailing List and got a name check on the Galaxie 500 DVD (major claim to fame). It now includes Dean & Britta and will cover whatever the rest of the ex-members of Luna decide to get up to. Entries in the A Head Full of Wishes blog concentrate on categories such as 13 most beautiful, after luna, audio, damon and naomi, dean and britta, dean wareham, download, editorial, extracurricular, fortune, friday recycling, galaxie 500, history, live, live shows, lost tracks, luna, news, originals, other people's blogs, pictures, review, statistics, velvet underground tour diary and video. PR opportunities include news, reviews and interviews related to Galaxie 500 and the subsequent bands. Andy can be reached at andy@fullofwishes.co.uk.
