From volunteering aboard a hospital ship in West Africa to exploring countries around the world, Katy’s global experiences continue to shape the way she approaches storytelling, parenting, and place. She is the founder of Indy with Kids, Indiana’s leading events and activities platform for families, created after years of documenting her travels and everyday adventures. What started as a search for things to do in a new city grew into a trusted resource reaching tens of thousands of families each day through video, television, and digital media. Known for her authentic voice and practical tips, Katy creates hyperlocal and travel content for her own platforms and for clients across tourism, culture, and community spaces. Her work includes weekly television segments, regional tourism writing, and national video licensing. Whether she’s creeping up on native animals in Ecuador, road-tripping home to California by minivan, or discovering a new donut shop close to home, Katy’s mission is simple: help families find unforgettable experiences, both near and far.
